We serve the most delicious continental breakfasts with juices, cereals, fresh fruit, home made bread, croissants, preserves, teas and coffee.

Unless specifically requested otherwise, Breakfast is included in our room rate.





Lunch & Dinner

We are happy to prepare lunches and dinners for guests,  perhaps after a long days travel, or International flights.

Our food is delicious and, wherever possible, is organically produced. We cater for special dietary requirements, vegetarian or vegan, gluten free, or any other specific food intolerance requirements.

If you wish to dine at Kaimanga Lodge, we do need advance notice if at all possible, such that we can properly prepare.

There is a nominal extra charge for this service.

Susie and Martin are both holders of the UK Chartered Institute of Environmental Health – Certificate in Food Hygiene.

Dining Out

Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands have many fine restaurants and cafés for dining during your visit to the region. We are happy to advise  on the style of the  restaurants in our area.

Self Catering

There are supermarkets, and other suppliers, close by for guests who would like to prepare their own meals. Fantail Cottage is equipped with a wide range of cooking utensils, dishes, pots, and plates for guests to use.
